5 everlasting toys..a MAMA dream!

Toys. It comes with the territory of becoming Mama. There..are..SO many products we can buy to entertain and satisfy our children's ever changing need for play..even looking around my house now I'm saying "look at all this STUFF!" From Brandon and I, to spoils from grandparents (shout out, we love youuuu)...there can be a never ending flow of toys that enter..and exit..your precious space...

But what are the YAS toys?

The toys that survive endless garage sale and donation piles?

They definitely exist, and although at times they can be the ones the cost a bit more...they are SO worth it because of the endless ways your kids can grow up playing with them...

In my mind of mama, I try and look for items I know both kids will enjoy at ages 1.5 and 3.5 AND toys that will hopefully last at least a few years!

I've learned how to spot them, and cant wait to share them with you!

I wont mention any books in this post...purely out of books deserving and needing their own spotlight...quality books are ALWAYS a win. For now, let's get into sharing my top 5 fav toys that have and continue to be kid approved!

1. Stepping stones! Since we first brought these into the house they have been a hard WIN with both kids. We make different paths to climb and hop on. We've seen the, turned into beds for baby dolls, dishes for kitchen play, and a colorful drum set! They stack up nice and neat, and always make it in the car for destination trips.

2. Magna Tiles. YEP. They are as good as they're hyped up to be. Both of my kids LOVE magna tiles, and when I was in the classroom my first graders loved them just as much! Hudson loves to look through the different colors, stack alike shapes, and of course destroy! Halle loves to build different castles and recently has been turning her magna tile creations into "napping houses" for the busy dinos we have playing in our home. I really don't think you could ever have enough and I LOVE how easy and quick they can be cleaned up and put in a tub.

3. Trampoline. A kids size trampoline has been A YAS TOY...especially for those winter rainy days that have us trapped inside, and in the PNW that can be on the regular. Both Halle and Hudson love to bounce on the trampoline...and it doesn't take up a ton of space. It's easy to pick up and move from room to room, for endless bouncy fun!

4. Ball Pit. Yes, you may have moments of wanting to pull out your hair because balls will be everywhere...but BELIEVE ME when I say this pit will be a favorite in your house! Belly flops, ball fights, hunting for binkies in the balls...the list goes on of what games we have included our ball pit in! We have a super cute colored one, that makes my overstimulated mom brain breath just a little bit easier if you know what I mean ;). 5. And finally....A kid sized table! Our table has been used every single say in our house since Halle turned 1! A space to eat snack, color, paint, play with playdoh...and the perfect height...it screams USE ME! Both kids love to sit in their spot and it's recently become our favorite hide and seek place of choice :).

And there you have it mamas! 5 toys that I promise you won't regret buying yourself OR putting it on your amazon wish list for other to spoil you with!
